Sbrisolona Cake 360g

The Sbrisolona cake is a typical mantuan dessert that is characteristically hard, crumbly and with a rich flavour. Tradition has it that you should break it with your hands and not cut it into slices.

A simple dessert with peasant origins, fast and easy to make, the package S.Martino contains the mix with the right combination of corn flour and wheat flour, along with whole almonds to put on top of the cake or to be minced and added in the dough. If you want to make it even "richer", you can also add chocolate pieces.

Tips: to make the Sbrisolona softer, you can pour some Porto or Grappa on it, or accompany it with some sugolo (a grape pudding) or eggnog.
